Ally & Susan's Faroes Gallery (June 2007) / IMG_1804 |
The crucifixion depicted on the wall of the unfinished/ruined St Magnus cathedral. There are seven religious artefacts behind this panel including some of the remains of St Magnus of Orkney himself, and also of St Porlákur of Iceland, plus a shred of the virgin Mary’s dress and a sliver of the cross. The identity of the three others is lost to history. So, less than nine items, express checkout with a handbasket... |
