April 2007 (anwers given before Italy away game)

1. First home and away matches?  

Home: Scotland 1-1 Italy - Kenny Millers goal and oh so nearly beat the pizza munchers

Away: Lithuania 1-2 Scotland - Pear Cider and Romanovs take a whipping, though it was squeaky bum for the last 5 minutes!


2. Best away trip?
 

Lithuania - Pear Cider and my first trip (Come back in a couple of years time when i have some more caps)


 
3. Best foreign stadium visited?  
Amsterdam ArenA - sounds even better witht he roof closed
 
4. Best foreign pub/club visited?  

Can't remember the name, but the first pub in Dortmund

(Paul: It's called "Dampfloek" and is right outside the station. James obviously isn't very fussy about his pubs...)


 
5. Describe your usual match-day attire  
Brown "cats", Hose, Galloway District Kilt, Sporran, Belt and Tshirt for home games and my McCoist '96 top for away games! and numerous jumpers if it's cold :O)
 
6. Is there anywhere you have seen Scotland play that you would like to go back to?  
Vilnius - be nice once it's finished!
 
7. Where have you have seen Scotland play that you would NOT like to return to?  
Kiev - Just a nasty atmosphere - city was great but in the stadium was a different story!
 
8. And where do you want to go to (but haven't yet)?  
Germany - Allianz Arena - just looks like big bubble!
 
9. Who's the best Scottish player that you have actually seen?  

Club: Willie Miller - He just commanded the dons defence

Country: Darren Fletcher - For someone so young his class shines through!


 
10. Who's the best opposing player you have actually seen?  
Thierry Henry - luckily he can't head the ball for toffee but with the ball at his feet he scares the Bejesus out of me!
 
11. Who would you most like to see succeed Alex McLeish?  

Walter Smith? David Moyes or Craig Levein....


 
12. Favourite Scottish home and away kits of all time?  

Home: '96 Tartan Strip

Away: One with the purple and red "rip" accross it (or puke as some people call it)


 
13. . And your least favourite?  

Home: Fila Pinstripe thing

Away: The Light Blue - looks like a covvie top..


 
14. What is your favourite and least favourite Scotland chant/song?  

Favourite: We'll Be Coming - simple and fun - Do-a-deer is a close second

Least: Stand Up if you Hate england - I dont't actually!


 
15. Which have been the highest and lowest points of supporting Scotland?  

High: Beating France

Low: Belarus at Home


 
16. Favourite domestic stadium?  

Ibrox


 
17. Best domestic match ever attended?  

Clydebank 3 Aberdeen 4 (aet) - some league cup game at Kilbowie (RIP)


 
18. Favourite chant/song heard at a domestic match?  

Tonnes of Ajax songs, especially when whole sections of the stadiums bounce in opposite directions....

But the winner is.....Sussex By The Sea - unique to only a handful of clubs!!!!


 
19. Best domestic pub/club?  
Those with big beer gardens and Magners
 
20. What are your pet hates?  

Weatherman doing the national weather who stop at Carlisle! The EBC is full of them!!!


 
21. What makes you chuckle?

22. Best night out ever on a TA trip? (aka the "Tuesday Night in Graz Award")  

 
23. You're stranded on a remote island in the Hebrides. Before the ship went down you managed to salvage some belongings (to help you pass the time until you're rescued) including...  
1 book? Hannibal - In case I feel like eather the Star!

1 magazine? Top Gear - Cars cars and cars

1 album? Oasis - Definitely Maybe

1 film? Green Mile (i might be on the island for some time)

1 beer? The german stuff I was drinking in Dortmund - Paul oredered, I drank, I forget

1 spirit? Vodka

And 1 famous member of the opposite sex? Anne Robinson, so i can take my frustration out that I forget to salvage the DVD player to watch Green Mile or the CD Palyer for Oasis and the car mag got soggy and fell apart - it's the kind of luck I'd have!!!! But why would Angelina Jolie be on the same boat as me....please! please! please!
