TUESDAY
      20th APRIL 2004
      Ryman League Division One South
      WORTHING
      (0) 0
      LEWES (3) 3 (Lovett, Haughton 2)
Attendance: [Possibly] far more than was officially declared…

Bad. Unthinkably bad. But here are the good points.

        - We’d never have been able manage all those play-off
          games anyway

        - The new stand is back again (well the posts at least)

        - We didn’t get as wet as last time

        - A HUGE attendance so more cash in the coffers

        - The title will almost certainly still go to a Sussex
          club

        - Darren Freeman didn’t play

        - Sam did

        - No-one got sent off

        - Ben got 15 minutes

        - And that’s about it I’m afraid…

No excuses – beaten by the better side on the night,
they were superior in every department. Let’s get it out of our
system on Saturday at Hampton. We need all the support we can muster to
get those vital three points that would ensure promotion, THEN we can
think about the Cup Final. And, I never thought I’d say this, but
can we PLEASE go back to 4-4-2?
